Another Attitude

Approach your life wholeheartedly. Whatever you do, do with your fullest attention. Be in the moment at hand, not in the moment or day that has passed, or in the moment or day yet to come. Every day say to yourself, “I am healing myself.” Those healing potentials are within you. Negative thoughts are very injurious and positive thoughts are healers to your body. If mind is disturbed, if mind is depressed, or if mind is agitated by emotions, that mind cannot taste cheerfulness. If you want to enjoy good health, you should have a friend with you called cheerfulness. You should always have the attitude that no matter what happens you will keep on smiling. Happiness lies within you. It is not something that you have to gain. Enjoy life from moment to moment and do not get disturbed. Try to see the same Reality that is within you in your friends and in the members of your family. Then you will genuinely smile and laugh. Life and relationship are something reverential, something great. The same Truth that is within you is in others. There is no space for sadness in life if you really remember that the center of live and light is within you. Learn to identify with the source of life and light.

Create love for your duties, whatever you do, and then they will not give you tension or bring stress to your life. Great joy comes when actions are done with love. Personal gain is not the motivation behind your actions. Slowly you learn to do your actions selflessly. To do this is a spiritual discipline.

If you understand the known and unknown parts of life, the relationship between body and mind, and how body and mind are related to the soul, then you will come to know that there is something within you, a center with you, that is fearless. That center gives you peace, happiness, and bliss. Fears go only up to the level of mind and not beyond. When you start receiving glimpses from the unknown part of your life and slowly become aware of the center within from where consciousness is flowing on different levels, then there will be no chance of any fear. When you have no fears, you will understand the mysteries of life here and now. To live without fear is to live in perennial joy. Learn to jump in joy all the time.

Seeing God in everyone and working for others is one way of enjoyment, but that is not so easy. You will have to practice. Remember the Lord all the time and sooner or later you will be transformed.
